A market leading client of mine has just received huge investment and is therefore looking to grow to their already successful team in Salford. They are recruiting for an ITIL Manager.
Main Responsibilities Required of the ITIL Manager:
  • Operating the ITIL Management process from initiation through to implementation
  • Preparing and chairing the Change Advisory Board meetings
  • Defining and measuring Key Performance Indicators against agreed baselines
  • Working across the Service Desk teams providing guidance and support in the consistent adoption of processes and procedures.
  • Development and enhancement of internal processes to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Ensuring that operational KPIs and statistics are within the agreed targets and initiatives are identified to drive continual service improvement.
  • Reporting on metrics and providing management information to ITSM Board
  • Responding to and prioritising escalations from internal resources and customers in accordance with OLAs and SLAs
Key Skills Required of the ITIL Manager:
  • At least 2 Years’ experience of working within an ITSM function
  • Specialist/expert capabilities in ITIL processes
  • ITIL Practitioner certification required, ITIL Expert certification desirable
  • Experience of implementing and embedding new ITSM processes
  • Effective and efficient workload management
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Highly developed influencing and negotiating skills
  • Highly developed communication skills, able to present to large groups and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
Desirable Skills Required of the ITIL Manager:
  • At least 2 Years’ experience of working within an ITSM function

  • Experience of implementing and embedding new ITSM processes

The successful ITIL Manager will be paid up to £40,000 per annum.
