My client, a leading advertising and marketing agency, based just outside of Manchester, have an exciting opportunity for a PHP Developer to join their expanding team! The PHP Developer will have proven commercial experience creating bespoke and custom applications for a variety of clients across the board. This business has been well established for over 10 years, continuing to grow by 30-40% each year, which has enabled them to move into brand new offices very recently. The successful PHP developer will demonstrate an excellent standard of written code throughout the whole development life cycle, providing implementation and post-implementation support. This position would be a great opportunity for a Mid/ Senior PHP Developer looking to eventually take charge and lead their own team of developers as this business continues to branch out with the technologies they are using. This position would be ideal for a PHP Developer who loves working on multiple, fast-paced projects for a range of high end clients.
- 3+ years of commercial experience
- Agency experience ideally
- HTML/ CSS
- Node.JS (Not essential but highly desirable)
- PHP, including MVC techniques, Laravel/ Symfony
- WordPress (very highly desirable)
- Version control systems, Git
- API integration
- Candidates must be able to drive or live local to the area
- Candidates must submit a portfolio and examples of code
- Opportunity to work with emerging technologies
